Sunset Waterfront Grill & Bar in Cocoa Beach

Tyde B. (our server) was the only Pro of our visit and, the only reason for a three star rating. The food was mediocre at best. I hope once the inside remodeling is done that someone will be keeping the bathrooms clean. If I had used the bathroom before eating, we wouldn't have stayed to eat! We didn't have an alcoholic beverage but, based on our experience, I would say this is a place to come to when you want to enjoy a drink while looking out at the river.

This was our 2nd time ever going, and trying to give the benefit of doubt. We arrived 10 minutes before kitchen opened which was fine. The bar was opened serving cocktails. We were seated at a table. Received our ice tea. I noticed servers wearing masks below their noses. A couple after us came in was seated, received their waters. For some reason they left. Server removed the glasses But never wiped table down after they left. We ordered 2 appetizers. The Conch was nearly burnt, potato skins mediocre at best, not very hot I'll add, for a kitchen just opening for the day. Pretty safe to say We will NOT BE RETURNING.

Don't go on a busy night. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and style of restaurant but the bland food and terrible service killed it for me

The food was good. Most staff were wearing masks, not all, and seating socially distanced on the patio, which was great. This was important to us if we ate out due to the rising Covid-19 numbers. We greatly appreciate this. They were one of a few restaurants open right now. I don't recommend the frozen drinks. They had very little flavor and tasted just like crushed ice and nothing else, it was terrible. They were from a machine that was low on flavor.

Really enjoyed my meal and experience here. I had the blackened grouper and it was excellent. Nice view and the server was EXTREMELY friendly and attentive. Mixed drinks were done right 😬

The waitress (#331 Paula R) was HORRIBLE, she didn't come back once to check on us to see how the food was or if we needed anything- salt and pepper, refills, etc. For the price of an entree- I'd rather eat Red Lobster! Will NOT be returning. Even asked to speak to a manager finally just got up and left when no manager came out. Terrible service!!!

Birthday lunch with friends, awesome food, social distancing adhered to, our server, Sandra, was absolutely awesome, the sax player was fabulous. Cocktails were delicious, we will most definitely be back🥂🥂🥂

The atmosphere, food, and service were excellent. Our waitress Lexi was warm, knowledgeable, and professional. The food was well seasoned and perfectly prepared. The restaurant is lovely. It's right by the water, with both indoor and open air seating. The sunset view is amazing.

Atmosphere: loud band. Could not have a conversation at our table. Service: Slow. Forever to get a drink.Food: Average Bar Food. View: spectacular by the water.

Really disappointing experience, we ordered champagne as we were celebrating purchase of our new home, however they didn't sell bottles of champagne only small bottles of cava that the server forgot to bring us, so we couldn't celebrate. We ordered Mahi Mahi and the fish platter the portions were tiny, I ordered broccoli on the side but it came out mixed with other vegetables and was buttered and sautéed after I specifically ordered it steamed. The meal came to $80 for two that was with no appetisers or desert, you would expect a bigger fish for this price. The view and ambience is amazing but the food and service on this occasion really let this place down.

We visited on Friday about 2 pm. We had our tiny dog with us. The hostess was very snotty. Told us she would seat us this time because they weren’t busy but next time we better have papers. Our waitress was wonderful and very sweet to our little dog. The conch fritters were excellent but the wings were the worse we ever had. Most likely will never visit again.

Nice, casual place to cool down and grab a drink and bite to eat after boating or a day at the beach.

It was nice to relax by the water and have a Sunset dinner. The food was delicious too!! I had the crab cake dinner and blackened shrimp!!

Unfortunately I'm not sure why but me and my partner waited an hour and 10 minutes for our food I watched 3 or 4 other groups come in sit down eat talk and have dessert and leave after paying the check before we even saw our food paid 25 for the grouper shrimp and crab cake and the crab cake was imitation at real crab price and tasted not very good at all and the fish was okay and got a few decent shrimp and all together the portions nor the food was worth the price we also got the shrimp alfredo which I must admit was delicious filling and decently priced but overall I wouldnt reccomend coming here I'm not sure what caused us to be forgotten and left waiting for so long or why we were charged so much for terribly portioned food but that was our experience.

AMAZING!!!! My Rib Eye was simply PERFECT! My 91 year old Mom snubs her nose at her food! ALWAYS!!! No this time!!! Kudos to the COOK!!! Mama got the Seafood Combo and her fish was 100% yummy!! Thank you for such great service Ashley!! You kept my friend in ice cold beer!! Right on time!!! For dessert we had a Frozen Cocktail and was just the thing to pull such a dinner together. Being on the water was just the bonus!!! Thank you Sunset Grill!

This place is amazing Great food great music love the view of the place it’s amazing love it . All the time I come to cocoa beach I have to come to this place I come from Orlando just to come to sunset bar and grill my favorite dish Is the oysters I love it . Everyone is friendly and to top it of they give awesome service love it I will continue to come there

So good! Amazing food, amazing service, great fruity drinks and perfectly fried shrimp with phenomenal tarter sauce. We will def be back. We sat outside in June in Florida and it was so manageable with all the fans. Live music also a plus! Highly recommend.

Waitress was short, food was overcooked, inside was a mess. Yet, I liked the ambiance and location. Live music was a bonus.

Just feet from the water, walk, drivr, or boat. Live music, great bar drinks, and friendly locals. Dolphins swimming close to dock.

Very nice location overseeing the waterway with plenty of open outdoor seating. Service was great, food is average - crab cakes are rather bland and missing lump crab meat one would usually expect. Parking is challenging, prices are a bit steep relative to quality.

If you love grouper you got to have one of these . The Staff is Alway's on top of things.There's Not a better View and Atmosphere.You Can't beat the Price for what you get .Raven's Not sure what we can drink 😆

It is ok, nothing great nothing bad. Just average quality and service priced like a top restaurant. On the check don't list "service charge" but for sure when you hand your cc they charge it for an extra $ 3.95 "service charge". Would be nice if stated somewhere before the cc charge ... on the menu ? a simple sign at entrance ? Not the way to do it

New f.a.v.o.r.i.t.e stop in Cocoa Beach! Beautiful views, awesome people, amazing food, I could just go on and on. Definitely can't wait to come back.

Not bad! Food menu was okay, atmosphere was really good, beer selection was good and drafts came in actual glass. If you go before 5pm, it's gonna be hot. Plan for it and don't sit on the open deck. Service was pretty good. Will be back!

Sat for 20 minutes with no server, asked for a drink and nasty bartender on outdoor seating rudely told me to wait for my server when asking for water. Service here is terrible, other guests felt badly.

Food was amazing ! We were a party of 14 all of us consumed food to at least deserve to be granted a very petit request. We asked if they could sing happy B day to both of my children and the waitress said NO because "it's not today." Their b day is tomorrow july 4 and its 9:46 pm.Really ! They broke our children's hearts. 😒

Went here for the first time beautiful view of the water. The food however was overcooked and I do mean all of the food! Our waiter Ty said that he would let the manager know but no one ever came out to our table to discuss the meal. When we received our check everything was at full price! Not that I was looking for charity, but come on at least acknowledge the over cooked meal. We won't be back !

The menu online does not match with the current menu, but beside all that they had a wonderful drinks, food, and staff. The water side made it a unique experience and we got to see dolphins!

Servers were great but the food was terrible and over priced. $25 for a sad plate of mixed seafood and $13 for some burned conch hush puppies.

This place was awesome. Waterfront bar and grill with live music. Highly recommend for atmosphere. The food was good as well. But go here for the fun!

Ordered conch fritters for app they were burned on the outside. Steamed oysters were ok. Did not order dinner didn't what to take the risk of more burned food. Sorry for the bad review. Though this place would be a lot better

I think the food is good, great atmosphere. But they don’t let us fish on the place where tons of people tend to fish. There have things built for fishing on the dock and they don’t let us fish. The dock is a good 15ft long and they think that we would hook someone.

Amazing food, great service(Ty was our server), and a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely go next time we're out that way!

Nothing I can say to justify this well known establishment. If you like being or feeling like you're on vacation then you'll enjoy everything here. You'll see and thank me later...

Food is always delicious. Tables were spaced out, but otherwise no covid 19 changes. Only 1 staff member consistently wearing a mask. Crowds at the bar. Few patrons coming in with masks. Won't go back anytime soon.

I fell in love with my wife here almost 15 years ago on him what was basically a blind dateWe danced , had wonderful drinks listen to great music and had a beautiful seafood dinner which she ate none of15 years later I’m still in love with her and the sea food is just as good and the service is excellentBe careful who you bring here on a first date you may end up married and live happily ever after❤️

view is great. food was ok. but they charge 3•3% extra if you pay by credit card. they dont tell you till after they charge you. Not right.

I want to start by saying this place had the potential for a 4 star review, until I watched the discomfort of my bartender being scolded by a manager (shorter male) over not turning on the patio lights. From what I observed, suddenly she got very busy as people sat with her for a beverage waiting for tables, then decided that they would just put their food orders with her. I don't know what happened to her after that, but my experience went downhill from there. My crabcakes sandwich was mushy (not sure if there was any crab in it) the clam chowder tasted like tin can. I honestly felt so uncomfortable for the young lady that was taking care of us, up until that point. I just hope that she didn't get fired over lights. She was the best thing about this place, itd be a shame of they let her go! Management should never belittle an employee like that, ESPECIALLY in front of guests. VERY unprofessional!

Beautiful view,fun music,food was alright but our server had better days.

A great place to go for a lovely view of the water. Good is good, too. Some times it is difficult to find parking. Busy times are Fri and Sat evenings. When with a group of 8 and we all were very satisfied with service and food. Sax player was an added bonus!

Good food and scenery but one man band was terrible. Ran us and others out of there. Sounds of road traffic was more enjoyable than the entertainment.

We ordered 3 meals and everything was over cooked. The mix drinks tasted like they had no alcohol. I will not return

This place is so amazing! The outside has an unforgettable ambiance, from the outdoor seating, to the gorgeous sunsets and the key west type vibe, and the music was spot on. The food was delicious and the drinks made be feel like I was in the Bahamas. Exactly what we were looking for and we will be back.
